Is your beef & lamb grass-fed?
Yes. Our livestock are 100% grass-fed and grass-finished. We practice a regenerative approach to livestock management and rotational graze our cattle and sheep on native pasture range through the spring and summer and a combination of non-gmo cover crops during the winter.
What breed are your cattle?
The cattle we raise are Black Angus influenced and have been selectively bred since 1963 for superior genetics that excel in our regenerative grazing program and thrive in our environment.
Where does your beef & lamb come from?
Our cattle are born, bred, and raised on our family ranch in southwest Nebraska. Most of our lambs are the same way, but we currently are sourcing a small portion of our lambs from other farms that practice a similar ranching style. Soon our flock will be large enough to fill our demand.
Do you give your livestock growth hormones or steroids?
No. Our animals are never given growth hormones or steroids and never will be.
Do you use antibiotics?
As stewards of the land and livestock we manage, we will treat with antibiotics per veterinary recommendation for the welfare of the animal due to illness or injury. However, livestock treated with antibiotics will NOT be sold to our customers. Our promise to you is antibiotic free meat you can feel good feeding your family.

What breed are your sheep?
We raise Dorpers. Dorpers are a hair sheep breed, which means they are bred for meat, not wool. Because of this they do not produce lanolin, that often gives a gamey oily flavor typical in other commercial breeds. Dorper lamb can be prepared the same way you would with beef and you can expect a tender meat with superior flavor.
Who butchers your meat?
We work with an amazing team of butchers that are USDA Inspected and are great at their craft.
Are there any additives to your meat?
No. You are getting a 100% natural product unlike store-bought meat that contains additives to keep meat red in appearance.
Is your beef dry-aged?
Yes. Dry aging is the process of hanging beef in a
temperature-controlled environment prior to cutting and packaging. This process
tenderizes the meat, concentrates flavors and removes water. These benefits set dry-aged beef apart from grocery store options.
