At 7M Ranch, we utilize sheep in our multi-species, regenerative grazing program, specifically Dorpers. Dorpers are a hair sheep breed, which means they are bred for meat, not wool. Because of this they do not produce lanolin that often gives a gamey, oily flavor typical in lamb found in stores. Our sheep are raised without steroids, growth hormones, or unnecessary antibiotics. Dorper lamb can be prepared the same way you would with beef, and you can expect a tender meat with superior flavor!
